The Action Camera Toolbox app allows users to control action cameras from various brands, such as GoPro, Ricoh, and Xiaomi. The application provides features like live preview, multi-camera support, and a robust scripting language that offers full control over camera settings. Users can now create customized scripts for functionalities like exposure/focus bracketing, time-lapse, and event-driven actions.
- Import - Read before download: The app includes a free virtual camera device for users to test the app and scripting language functionality. Real cameras are available for purchase within the app. For specific device information, refer to the "Model information" section on http://www.mobwheel.com/acthelp.
- Supported models:
- GoPro: Hero 2 (with WiFi bacpac), Hero 3 (White/Silver/Black), Hero 3+ (Silver/Black), Hero 4 (Silver/Black), Hero Session, Hero+.
- Ricoh: Theta m15 and Theta S.
- Xiaomi: Yi and Yi 4K.
- In-device/system camera (e.g., front/back camera).
- App features:
- Adjust settings, initiate recording, manage camera power state*, and more.
- Live preview* functionality.
- Control multiple action cameras simultaneously (including preview)*, supported currently by Xiaomi Yi and Yi 4K with manual setup required.
- Transfer media from the camera to your device*.
- A powerful scripting language similar to JavaScript enables users to create custom capturing scenarios.
- Presets for quick access to different camera settings configurations.
